New accounts start as pending and are reviewed before they can accept paid marketplace tasks — this keeps data quality high. Once you're approved, tasks appear in your inbox.

You don't have to wait to try the app: every account has a built-in “Sample task — practice run” in the inbox. It needs no approval, pays no credits, and can be repeated as often as you like, so you can learn the eyes-free flow right away.

You mount the phone at eye level and record hands-free. Audio coaching tells you what to do next, and simple hand gestures — held in view of the camera — start, stop, and cancel each take, so you never touch the screen mid-demonstration. Takes upload in the background.

When you submit a take, it's scored automatically and then reviewed. If it's approved, it becomes a pending credit for that task; once released, it adds to your available balance, which you can see in the app. The practice task is free and earns no credits. Cash payouts are not yet available — credits reflect approved contributions today.

You can delete your account from inside the app: open your profile and choose Delete Account. This removes your account and associated personal data, subject to the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.

You can also request account or episode deletion by email at srikanth@dxtr.co. Note that dataset material already delivered to customers cannot be recalled, but it is excluded from future deliveries — see the Privacy Policy for details.

Email us at srikanth@dxtr.co with your device model and what you were doing. If a take won't upload, keep the app open on Wi-Fi — uploads resume automatically.
